2019 SUNOCO WHELEN CHALLENGE
British GT Championship – Anglo American Oil Company are pleased to continue as the official fuel supplier for the 2019 British GT championship. All British GT 3 & GT4 Pro/Silver drivers will be eligible to sign up for the Sunoco Whelen Challenge. GT3 and GT4 AM drivers are eligible for the Sunoco 240 Challenge. British F3 Championship – When Felipe Nasr won the Sunoco Daytona Challenge in 2011, and went on to finish 3rd in the 2012 Rolex 24 At Daytona it was the last year British F3 drivers could participate in the Sunoco Whelen Challenge. Now seven years later British F3 has again grown to such a standard that we are pleased to invite them to participate in the Sunoco Whelen Challenge. For more details visit www.britishf3.com
GT Cup – We are the official fuel supplier to the GT Cup championship. Organised into four classes, split by power to weight ratio, the GT Cup Championship is open to a wide variety of fabulous GT cars. All racers that use a Sunoco fuel are eligible to enter the Sunoco 240 Challenge. Please note: only the Sunday race is eligible for Sunoco 240 Challenge points. For more details visit www.gtcup.co.uk
Radical Challenge– Radical Challenge drivers are eligible for the Sunoco 240 Challenge for the 2019 season. Please note that only the “solo” races count. MINI Challenge – MINI Challenge is one of the most exciting one make Championships in the UK. The class structure offers career racers, seasoned privateers, and new race drivers a competitive environment where overall championship victory is achievable. The series is increasingly seen as a training ground for the touring car drivers of the future. For 2019 MINI Challenge competitors in JCW and the Cooper Class (Pro) continue to be eligible for the Sunoco 240 Challenge. www.minichallenge.co.uk
F3 Cup – We are the control fuel to the F3 Cup championship. F3 Cup is one of the UK’s top single seater championship and is arguably the fastest open-wheel championship based in the UK. All racers are eligible for the Sunoco 240 Challenge. For more details visit www.f3cup.co.uk
Britcar Endurance Championship – The Britcar Endurance Championship grew from strength to strength in 2017 under new owner Hedley-Cowell’s guidance.
